I downloaded the 5th season of The Big Bang Theory to my pc and I know how to save the video file on a disk (Im Using DVD Flick). But I dont have any blank disks and know little about this. They should be supported by DVD Player and my XBOX 360. What blank DVD should I buy?
I want to copy my DVD onto my compueter but it says it is copy protected. Is it ok to copy it onto my laptop? It won't be going on the internet or anything. Also how do you copy it onto your computer?
I bought lots of DVDs there years, and some of them are already wear out. So I think I'd better copy and save them to my computer? How can I do this?
I usually use iDVD to burn dvd format pictures, movies, and data, but in my new Mac computer there is no iDVD, where can I get that (useful for me) program?
I'm new to Blu-Ray, but getting a new Sony Vaio laptop for Christmas, which has Blu-Ray disc support and does the whole DVD/CD player/burner as well. Will the laptop be able to copy, burn Blu-Ray discs onto a blank Blu-Ray (or DVD-R)?
Is there a way to watch Bluray movies on my laptop without the disk? I know I have to convert Bluray to video formats so that it will be played by windows media player on my laptop win 7.

Hi,
I am using an iMac.
I am lifetime registered for imElfin Mac DVDRipper and imElfin Mac Blurayripper.
The current version I am using is 7.3.3 for imElfin Mac Blurayripper and I am unable to upgrade to latest 8.0.0.
I managed to download the file imelfin_bdripper_setup.dmg, decompress it in my application folder, but when I start the application, this is still the old version which is running.
Help!
Kind Regards
Laurent Agussol

I'm looking for the best software, free or not free, that will make the best copies from DVD to AVI. I don't mind paying money because making AVI copies will save my disks from the kids scratching or misplacing them. While I haven't stepped things up to bluray yet, I wouldn't mind software suggestions that can incorporate bluray to AVI as well, incase I upgrade my diskdrive to a bluray playback model.
I don't want to make copies of my disks to blank disks, because I'm looking to just play videos off of my HTPC and avoid extra disks all together.
I want to copy my LEGALLY PURCHASED 3D BD movies to my home network hard drives (movies, tv, etc.) to playback with PowerDVD 15 ultra for example. I want MOVIE ONLY (3D), no loss of resolution, readily played by the player (could be another you may recommend instead).
Please email me at scarpia@cox.net. I will download the trial, anyway. Thanks...
