I downloaded the 5th season of The Big Bang Theory to my pc and I know how to save the video file on a disk (Im Using DVD Flick). But I dont have any blank disks and know little about this. They should be supported by DVD Player and my XBOX 360. What blank DVD should I buy?

A flash drive is enough. Most tvs and dvd players have usb ports now, and if you plug that in you can watch a video straight from the flash drive. Then you don't need to buy a DVD.

This seems to be the first time for you to burn a DVD, you'd better choose a DVD-RW disc, as it enables you to re-write in case the first buring fails.
On the other hand, a DVD+RW disc is more like a flashdrive, which is mostly used to store temp files. For movies, DVD-R is used for permanent storing.
