I was using Vegas Pro 12 up to now but for some reason it's been running slow lately. I've tried re-installing it but the problem still exists. So I decided that I'll just try something new. Any suggestions?

I am going to make a music video about an element on the periodic table on a video camera but don't know how to make it come together. we need a video editing program to cut and create a music video.No seperate audio.
Is any possibility for editing the subtitles (font, color, size etc?) I am not happy with the actual appearance.
