I am making a couple copies of my DVDs to give to my friend as a grad present. I was wondering how to make the copies using a windows computer. I still want mine to work and have a copy if that makes a difference.

If your DVDS are copyrighted, then making copies is illegal, so I'm sure you won't make copyies of such copyrighted DVDs.
But if you were such a rebel, your need a program to break the copy-protection that copyrighted DVDs have, not that have any first hand knowledge, dvdclone2 from slysort, you could copy those dvds during the trail period of this software.
