Hi, I want to find a DVD player which is able to directly play .avi files. Because I don't want to convert avi to dvd then burn it to DVD disc, that costs too much time.

So I am looking to save time by burning AVI files to DVD disc and play it directly.

Some DVD players out there claim that they can play .avi files, but the quality is not guaranteed indeed.

And some softwares can directly burn .avi to DVD and play on any standard DVD player, like this one: http://www.imelfin.com/dvd-creator.html

You can use it to burn dozens of video formats to DVD disc, need not to convert at first then burn. One-step solving your problem.

I suggest that you look for a DVD player that says on its specifications that it can play avi files and not only divx.
